Attorney Gorman is an experienced immigration litigator and has successfully clients before the Executive Office of Immigration review (EOIR), both in the Immigration Court and through written appeals at the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), as well as at the United States Citizenship and Immigration services (USCIS) (formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS). Ms. Gorman has lectured before many organizations and student groups of immigration issues and has written extensively on multiple immigration topics with the emphasis on
foreign student related immigration issues. Attorney Gorman is nationally known for her work involving foreign student issues and immigration, and is also frequently consulted on lived worked and studied in Germany for three years before moving to Boston, Massachusetts, where she lived for seventeen (17) years. In addition to earning her post-graduate degrees in Boston. Ms. Gorman served as a Foreign Student advisor at Northeastern University for more than 15 years before moving to Florida and establishing her law practice. Attorney Amit Dehra is an Associate of Gorman Miotke & Associates, P.A. He is a native of India. Attorney Dehra is a graduate of George Washington University Law School, Washington, D.C. (L.L.M. 2001); completed coursework in law and technology at Ohio State University Law School, Columbus, Ohio, and completed his law degree at Panjab University Law School, Chandigarh, India (L.L.B. 1999).
Attorney Dehra has successfully represented clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court); the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Attorney Dehra is admitted to practice before the Tennessee Supreme Court.
